What I Got For My Birthday

January is my birthday month and I thought it would be fun to share with you what I got. I have always been very curious about what other people got for their birthday and it has always been one of my favorite videos to watch on YouTube. I'm just nosy like that!

Aside from the greetings from my family and friends on Facebook and in person, here are some of the great stuff I received.

Rituals set from my brother and sister in law

Rituals set from my brother and sister in law

Petit fours and marzipan from my brother and sister in law

Sushi set from my friend

so over the moon! from my husband and my inlaws.

This is tompouce from my colleagues

Birthdays are not all about the gifts but about celebrating one's life.

I always look forward to mine and celebrate it and be thankful for all the people I met along the way and for the life that is given to me to live.

On to you, how do you celebrate your birthday?

Lots of love,

Jo xoxo

  2. Happy Belated Birthday! I love sushi so usually we'd go out for sushi or Red Lobster. My son's birthday is 4 days after mine so I revel in planning his birthday festivities.

  3. Hi Jo,

What a great and birthday you had. How fun. I love the special little sentimental gifts from those we care about. I'm with you - its not about the gifts but who gives them and the thought behind it. It's an amazing feeling. So glad you had a great birthday. By the way Jo ---- Happy belated birthday. I hope you ate cake and shared love.

Have a great week. I love the positivity roaring across this website. It screams some Katy Perry "ROAR" to me. But, that is because I LOVE that song!

    Take care.

    1. Hi Irish,

Thanks so much for dropping by. Yes, I love being around the people I care for on my birthday and to me that is the most important thing.
I do love Katy Perry as well and I can relate to liking the song "ROAR" I had it on my playlist as well.
