La Femme | Treasure Tuesday

Have you heard of La Femme blushes?

I have first heard of them years ago through Wayne Goss aka Goss Makeup Artist on YouTube and he gave quite a stellar review about the blushes. Since then I saw many people review the blushes on YouTube and I quite got curious.

Le Femme Cosmetics are originally created for theatrical makeup just like other companies such as Ben Nye, Graftobian, Krayolan, and many more. Their makeup products are not readily available at least here in Holland nor in London when I lived there either. They are however available on U.S. webshops.

I have heard only positive feedback of these blushes and I don’t know why I never really taken the plunge and got them before when they were just $2.99 and they have increased to $3.50. Still with the price increase I think that it would be worth it considering all claims the people who have sworn by these blushes have said. For the most part it is the pigmentation, the staying power, and the price that really attracted me the most to these blushes. They are like diamonds in the rough.

So I went to one of the websites which is Camera Ready Cosmetics that sell them and selected the shades I love the most.

Here are some swatches from the website:

The pigmentation is pretty insane, right?
Back to my question, have you heard of La Femme blushes? If yes, have you used them? Are the claims true? Is it worth getting them? Please let me know. I am really itching to get them but just want to make sure if they are worth it.

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.

Lots of love,

Jo xoxo

  1. Hi Jo! I think make-up is something personal really. My advice: just buy your favourite one and give it a try. Only you can judge if it works for you or not. What do you think?

  4. Whoa, these are incredible. I must say I lean more toward soft pink hues because otherwise I look odd with red cheeks. Flamingo Pink is stunning.

  6. I'm so sorry but I have never heard about this blushes although I have to admit that I'm enraptured not only by the wonderful colour shades! I have a weakness for pink blushes and therefore now I must immediately check out where I can get them in Germany as the pink colours are amazing! Thanks for sharing dear Jo and happy week!
