Happy Easter everyone! I am so happy the Lenten season is
over and now we all back in full swing food-wise.
How was your Easter? How did you celebrate it? We just
stayed in however the Easter bunny came and left us some eggs for our Easter
breakfast. Wow! Would you believe that was my first time ever to go on an
Easter egg hunt? That was really a nice and fun surprise. I posted photos on my Instagram account @saycheesycake.
On another note, it’s Monday once again and we all know what
that means. It’s time to round up what’s going to be on our plates this week.
To start off…
Monday – Grilled chicken wings, potato puree, and steamed
broccoli.
Tuesday – Chorizo with penne pasta, and green salad.
Wednesday – Stir-fried noodles with pancetta and mixed
vegetables.
Thursday – leftover stir-fried noodles.
Friday – Hamburger with potato wedges and coleslaw.
I must confess, writing this menu is making me hungry.
How about you? What are you having this week? Let us know so
we can all inspire each other.
If you need more inspiration, check out my other Menu Mondays.
Lots of love,
Jo xoxo

Clothes & Quotes
Is Thursday the traditional leftover day? We usually have leftovers Monday and or Tuesday, because the weekend is the time we get to cook fresh.

The list sound delicious the wings looks delicious. Glad you enjoy Easter egg hunt. I cook for family and friends ham, potatoes patties, lemon honey carrots, asparagus and devil eggs which I share on my wed post Devil eggs recipe.
ReplyDeleteIt's like you're reading my mind, Jo! I have been craving for chicken wings for days now but never made it because hubby hates bones in the chicken so he'll only eat the white meat. LOL!

Dear Jo, at least now you don't miss the experience of the Easter egg hunt :) We celebrated Easter already on Saturday evening as our daughter had to work during Easter (she works in shifts as a nurse and lives during here worktime at the moment in Munich). Our daugher came extra for a few hours to us and we had a wonderful evening togehter although what we cooked turned out not really how we had preferred it. Nevertheless we ate nearly every crumb of it. What you plan to cook this week makes me also hungry! We have not huge cooking plans this week but as my husband bought a new cooking magazine I will try out some new recipes.
ReplyDeleteHappy week, dear Jo!
