I Got Tagged | Social Sunday

 

Since it’s Social Sunday, I am going to address all the questions that have been waiting for me to answer whilst I got tagged by several lovely bloggers. 

 I love reading these kinds of post myself as it gives me a peak of someone’s personality. As I have been tagged by a few, I am going to answer all the questions here in one go. So excuse me for a lengthy post.

So here are the tag questions and my attempt to answer them.    

Sisterhood of the World - Blogger Award from Daisyperson

1. What was the inspiration to your blog name?

I love Cheese Cake and I honestly didn’t know what to name my blog.

2. If you could buy makeup from only one drugstore brand for the rest of your life which brand would you pick?

No brand in particular but I just cannot live without Maybelline Falsies mascara.

3. Tell me a story of a date that went horribly wrong or was just terrible right from the get go.

I never had one that went wrong coz I never really dated before I met my husband.

4. What is the beauty purchase you have been disappointed in the most?

Buying cheap makeup that I knew it wouldn’t be good but still bought it hoping it would be a good dupe.

5. Would you rather spend a more money for luxury makeup brands or rather save and buy dupes?

Learning from experience, I would rather save up for the one I really want and know is good.

6. What was your first MAC lipstick you bought? (if you have not purchased any MAC lipsticks what was the first lipstick you ever bought)

I don’t have any MAC lipstick but the first lipstick I bought was a hypoallergenic one from VMV.

7. If someone forced you to dye your hair right now, but it is not allowed to be similar to the current colour, which colour would you pick?

Blonde. I know it wouldn’t suit me, but hey if someone forced me what can I do right?

8. You are stuck on an island with two guys. One is strong, hot and extremely arrogant. The other is not the prettiest pea in the pod, a little weak but very nice. Which one would you rather camp with?

I don’t put up with arrogant people I never talk to them so I would rather be with the nice person.

9. Do you have any fears?

A lot it’s ridiculous.

10. Would you say you have mastered the art of liquid eyeliner and if so how?

No. I can’t draw so I would never even attempt. I use ones with sponge tip applicator as they are user-friendlier.

1. If you could choose one super power, what would it be?

I want to be invincible.

2. What is your favourite quote?

The golden rule and I always live by it.

3. If you had the option to go back in time and change anything, would you? And what would you change?

I don’t think I would change any, as experience only makes us better.

4. What is your best “feel good” song?

Fire by Bruce Springsteen

5. If you had to have eyeshadow tattooed onto your eyelids, what colour would you choose? And NUDE is not an option!

A warm taupe shade.

6. If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would they be?

I would make it 4 and they would be my husband, my parents, and my brother.

7. Favourite animal?

Cats and dogs. Can’t choose just one.

8. Whose life on TV/a movie would you take if you could?

Nobody.

9. Favourite restaurant ?

A lot of them in London. I like Japanese, Korean, Thai.

10. Which three items would you take to a desert island?

Water, food, computer.

11. If your house was burning down and all humans and animals were safe, what item would you grab?

My computer. My life is in it.

1. What inspired you to begin blogging?

I was watching the tv series Awkward and thought why not give it a go.

2. What do you do in your spare time?

Blog or read books.

3. What are 3 words that sum up who you are?

I am honest but I can’t say negative things about a person or say no to them. I always think about other people more than myself.

4. Who is your favourite blogger?

All the ones I read must be my favorite as I constantly go back to their blog.

5. What is your favourite colour?

Turquoise or mermaid blue.

6. What is your favourite blog post? (it can be from another blog)

Can’t decide yet.

7.  What city/town would you love to live in and why?

There are many aspects that I consider before moving to a place and I am good where I live now. But maybe in the future I would like to go back to my hometown.

8. What is your favourite meal & dessert? 

I love savory dishes and it’s so difficult to choose. I don’t like dessert that much but I wouldn’t say no a Filipino Leche Flan.

9. Would you rather live in a sweet bungalow or a stylish mansion?

I would prefer the sweet bungalow. I presume, it would be small but cozy and people who live there love each other. Whereas a stylish mansion feels so cold and since it’s so big people living in it wouldn’t see each other that much. They would be in their own rooms doing their own thing.

10. What are your ambitions?

I take life one step at a time, and I’d like life to take me to a nice place in life.

11. Do you have a favourite outfit? What is it like?

Pajamas! Nothing beats the comfort of a good old pajama.

7 Facts About Myself

1. I am addicted to makeup. Although I don’t wear heavy makeup, I just love   collecting them.

2.     I hate flying. Although I love to travel and see the world, I just don’t like flying especially when there is turbulence.

3.     Perfume is another obsession I have and I collect them.

4.     I don’t watch television. The commercials annoy me. I just download t.v. series and films. I watch YouTube videos everyday however.

5.     I don’t drive. I don’t have a driver’s license but I would love to get it one day.

6.     I am not into fashion but I am obsessed with handbags. 

7.     I worry too much and suffer from anxiety.
