Winter Circus Maastricht | Social Sunday

I recently visited the Winter Circus in Maastricht and I would like to share some snipets with you.

This was the first time for the Winter Circus to host in Maastricht and I am glad to be a part of the spectators in the first edition. The event truly was for the whole family. I went on a Sunday afternoon and saw a lot of families with children. The programme was packed with spectacular acts.

The acts included a trio of beautiful acrobatic women moving like snakes, a horse show, a dog show, an aerial ring act, a Wheel of Death, Romance in the Air, and a woman launched on air as a canon ball amongst others. The show was complete with live orchestra.

Personally I love the dog show and the romance in the air. The dog show was so cute, you wouldn't believe what those dogs can do for a cookie! The aerial act was very romantic and just appealed to me.

If you ever have the chance to visit Maastricht around Christmas time, you might want to check them out. The show was from the 20th of December 2014 up to the 3rd of January 2015. Tickets ranged from 19 to 40 euros. I think that the price was very much worth it. Dates and ticket prices for 2015/2016 show is not published yet.
