Removing mascara has always been a struggle for me since I
use waterproof ones.
There’s just no other way for me to use another type of
mascara as my lashes have very particular needs. They don’t work with just any
mascara, it has to be waterproof or they won’t stay curled. Let me know if you
want me to talk about this particular mascara on another post.
In the past, I have tried using makeup remover pads and it
stung me. I knew then it wasn’t the right one. Later, I changed into Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover. This
worked really well however it was on the pricier end. I then moved to Mac Cleanse Off Oil on my friend’s recommendation. This did
removed everything and I used to remove all my makeup with this and not just my mascara. This
also wasn’t really cheap. If you want me to do an in depth review on these two
amazing products just let me know on the comments section below and I will be
happy to oblige.
So when I was in the local drugstore one day, I found
something that looked really similar to the Lancome Bi-Facil. In the bottle is a two-colored liquid very similar to my Lancome one. It
wasn’t costly so I tried it out. When I did, I found it indeed works just as
well.
That was years ago. I can’t even remember how long it has
been since I have started using this. And I have only been using this same
product all throughout. Once you find something that works for you, you don’t
really have the need to look further anymore.
The original packaging was a big blue bottle. Now they have
repackaged it into a smaller, travel friendly size and it’s in a transparent
bottle. I remembered when I couldn’t find my bottle at the drugstore; I nearly
had a heart attack! Thankfully, they haven’t totally abolished my love but just
repackaged.
Garnier Skin Naturals Express 2-in-1 Eye Makeup Remover quickly and effectively removes mascara
even waterproof ones without leaving you greasy. It is enriched with Arginine which aids
repair of damaged tissues. This is also ophthalmologically tested and is paraben free.
I would pour a few drops on a cotton pad, press it against
my closed eyelids, and leave it for a few seconds to melt the makeup before I
remove everything. And just like that all my makeup is removed without rubbing or
hurting my eyes.
In my local drugstore Garnier Skin Naturals Express 2-in-1 Eye Makeup Remover retails at 5.59 Euros.
