Today is the first Monday of the year and I thought what
better way to start planning my week’s meals. I have heard of this brilliant
idea
already from watching tons of
YouTube videos. I know it’s a great way to save time but I have never
really got myself into making one. Not until I read Salma’s blogpost that I got
inspired and decided I should also make my own. I think that this will in fact help
a lot in organizing my time and avoid stressing about what to eat when I get
home from work.
I always do my grocery shopping on Saturdays so I’ll just
whip up what I already have at hand. So here what I am planning for the week:
Monday – Spaghetti Carbonara and green salad
Tuesday – Oven baked sweet chili chicken, rice, and sautéed
mushrooms
Wednesday – Pork cutlet, mashed potatoes, and beets
Thursday – Pesto tortellini in creamy white sauce and green
peas
Friday – Homemade pizza with prosciutto and goat's cheese
And Saturday will be grocery day again and the whole cycle begins.
I hope this will give you an idea of what to put together on
yours.
